Who Do We Believe?

BUY ORGANIC, DON'T BUY ORGANIC, BUY ORGANIC, DON'T BUY ORGANIC, BUY ORGANIC, DON'T BUY ORGANIC...

Organic Foods: What To Buy nbc5i.com

"You shouldn't spend your organic dollar in the personal care aisle. It's not worth buying organic shampoos, conditioners and cosmetic lotions, as there is no health benefit," Montezemolo said. Susanna Montezemolo is a policy analyst with Consumers Union.

I'm wondering if this person really knows what she is talking about. This is when it is really important to be an educated consumer.

I believe we are exposed to more harmful, carcinogenic, and toxic ingredients on the personal care aisle than anywhere else in the store. Read the labels and educate yourself on what all these unpronouncable contents are.

And remember that your skin is your largest organ. It breaths and drinks and absorbs everything that comes in contact with it. This is why exposure to cigarette smokes makes us look older. This is why nicotine patches and birth control patches, and pain relief medicine patches are effective. Our skin is permeable - it breaths in and out, it absorbs and perspires, stuff goes in and stuff comes out.

Do not tell me there is no health benefit in staying away from all the toxic and carcinogenic lotions and potions the personal care industry is trying to pass off on a blind society.

I'm not buying it! But I am buying organic! Organic produce, meat, dairy, pasta, breads and especially personal care products like deodorants, body lotions, face cleansers, shampoos, toothpaste, air freshner, and bug repellant. And I won't tell myself I can't afford it. I feel I can't afford not to. I will do whatever it takes to pay the extra to support the organic industry for myself, my son, and the earth.

As a matter of fact, I would do it even if it were only for the earth. We are so ignorant if we think we can continue to pollute our skies, water, soil, and our very own bodies and have the generations to come live to thank us for it.

BUY ORGANIC, DON'T BUY ORGANIC, BUY ORGANIC, DON'T BUY ORGANIC,
BUY ORGANIC, BUY ORGANIC, BUY ORGANIC, BUY ORGANIC
We can't afford not to.

When You Can't See The Forest For The Trees

What does that mean?

Life goes by so fast...and if we don't stop now and then and take inventory we could end up down a path and not know where we are going or how we got there.

Where is it we are heading and is that really where we want to be? What is it we are creating with our thoughts, wants, and desires and is the trip worth the destination?

Is the trip worth the destination?

Is the trip worth the destination?

Take a look at the whole picture and make sure you're getting the most out of getting to where you're going.

Enjoy the path you're walking.
