What I Am Doing Now!

Right now worm season is at its greatest. The worm bins are coming out of their winter slow-down.
Farmers' Market is ready to get started.
This is our work day party.
And I am slowly churning away at building my internet business.
I sell my worms and by-product at Market and I am the webmaster for the Market web site. You can see it by clicking here.
I have been busy building personal pages on the Market site for vendors - here is a sample.
I have produced a gardening newsletter for the Market site to help build relationships with the visitors to the site and help them see the value of a local Farmers' Market. In the process I hope to build a double opt-in list of people I will be able to further market to by sharing valuable offers and products, including my worm product. Here is the Market Monthly News.
To say I have been busy would be an understatement. And this is just the first phase. Next will come the marketing. By using the tools I have available as a Gold member at Veretekk I am going to build the popularity of the Market website in the search engines and drive traffic to the site for the vendors who are advertising their products there. Once I am successful at doing this then I will start encouraging vendors to build their own websites.
The power of the internet is growing. Technology is only going to get bigger. But you need to have the internet work for you. At Veretekk I am learning just that. And I am applying these lessons to every aspect of my business. From the worms (I have a web page for that too), to the Farmers' Market, to numerous other small business web site (s) that are in the works. And they are all linked together.
And I have other valuable tools at my disposal... A web conference room where I can have up to 5 people with me and I can "push" them web pages, do power point presentations, and talk with them in real time. I also have a tool called Quikonnex that is based on RSS Feed technology that let me communicate without using email. Email is very unreliable anymore and will become more so as time passes. This is also a safe place for me to publish my newsletters.
There are so many awesome tools available and I have been blessed to have somehow managed to get dropped right in the middle of them. I see my business taking off in 2006 and I am pumped up and ready. If you want to come along for the ride there are a few ways you can contact me. First you can email me at Christy@organicmarketingsolutions.com . However, as I have said, email can be unreliable these days. You can Skype me. Skype is free to join and you can talk to other Skype users free anywhere in the world. My Skype username is allaboutorganic. You can use the Quikonnex form on my web site Organic Marketing Solutions, or you can go to my conference room welcome page and use the form there to request a meeting with me in my conference room. From there I could show you some of the tools I use.
I am very excited about the future. Are you? Would you like to be? Come check it out. It won't hurt, I promise.
To your future success.
